About

Soldiers For Wildlife has partnered with Dogs 4 Wildlife to create a canine unit to work alongside the team in Africa. This team will be integrated for both daily patrols and a quick reaction force in the events of security breaches. Dogs 4 wildlife and Soldiers For Wildlife share very similar values and are extremely excited to move forward.

By donating to sponsoring a puppy, you will be helping to provide the puppies with their veterinarian bills, every day training costs, gear, and food bills all the way to deployment which will be in the second quarter of 2021. The skillset and training of these dogs doesn’t come cheap. They are carefully selected and trained specifically for this purpose every single day.

Belgian Malinois are agile, smart and energetic balls of muscle, making them a perfect fit for counter-poaching teams. Dogs can track a human's spoor (tracks) at nearly 9 kilometers per hour and can catch a scent of an unwanted poacher that is up to 3 hours old. The dogs make catching poachers under the cover of darkness possible. This is a Game Changer!
