Competition Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter of this contest is Soldiers for Wildlife Ltd whose registered office is at 16 Delongis Court, Sparkhill, New York 10976.
The abovementioned company will be hereafter referred to as the ‘Promoter’.
2. The competition is open to residents worldwide aged 18 years or over, including companies and other legal entities. Employees of the Promoter or their immediate family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
3. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. Only one entry will be accepted per person/entity. If there are multiple entries only one of their entries will be considered, chosen at random.
5. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
6. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

b) Select a donation amount (minimum of $50 USD)
c) Complete your details (if it is on behalf of a company, please fill this out)
d) In the comments, enter the puppy number you want the chance to name (eg: Puppy 1, Puppy2, Puppy 3 or Puppy 4). In 25 words or less, enter the name you want and why you chose this name.
For example: Puppy 1: Simba: named after the main character in my favourite childhood movie, the Lion King.
e) Entries will be submitted from now 20 August 2020, until 11:59pm GMT-4, 30 November 2020. After 30 November 2020 no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
f) The winners will be chosen by a member of the Soldiers for Wildlife team based on their determination of the most creative entries.
g) The winners will be selected by 10 December 2020.
7. Soldiers for Wildlife reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a health emergency, catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
8. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
9. The prize is as follows:
The prize is as stated (a chance to name one puppy and a certificate from Soldiers for Wildlife with the name) and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable.
10. The winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
11. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by US federal laws and New York law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York.
13. The winners agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winners or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current New York data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
14. The winners’ names will be published on our website.
15. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
16. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network.
